The King's Church Arnold - Members of Kings Church, Arnold having fun together

We are a community knitted together by the passionate belief that Jesus Christ is our living hope. Relationships are a big part of who we are and we believe in every aspect of our church life being relational. This is reflected in our meetings as well as in the way we share life together and build community together during the week

Our history
In 1987 a group of Christians from Arnold who attended Cornerstone Church established Kingswell Christian Fellowship. The church met in a local school and then a day centre for adults with learning disabilities. The church changed its name to The King’s Church, Arnold in 1996.

The church purchased the former St. Gilberts Catholic Church building, it was refurbished and extended and the church moved into The King’s Centre in 2002.

Our partnerships
The King’s Church, Arnold is a member of the Evangelical Alliance and Arnold Churches Together. The church relates to the Groundlevel and joins in the annual event ONE

Our present and our future
“Gratefully receiving the love of God, and giving it away to others” summarise our heart and vision. We love to worship God; we delight in, and seek to live in his grace; we seek to love one another and to share this love with those who do not know Jesus Christ as Saviour.
The King’s Church, Arnold also seeks to serve the community and to equip all our members – children, young people and adults alike – for vibrant Christian living in family, education and work. We want to be part of building the Kingdom of God locally, nationally and internationally.
