Does The King’s Church, Arnold believe in the Bible?

We believe that God has revealed himself in the Bible which consists of the Old and New Testaments. We believe that every word was originally given by the inspiration of God through human authors, so that the Bible in its entirety is the Word of God, without error and fully reliable in fact and doctrine. We believe that the Bible not only contains but is itself the Word of God.

What does The King’s Church, Arnold believe about God?

We believe there is one God who exists eternally in three distinct but equal persons – the Father being God, the Lord Jesus Christ the Son being God, the Holy Spirit being God, these being equal in power and glory, one Lord God Almighty – Sovereign in Creation, Providence and Redemption. He is unchangeable in his holiness, justice, wisdom and love. He is all present, all knowing, all powerful. He alone is worthy of our worship.

Does The King’s Church, Arnold believe in baptism?

We believe in ‘believers baptism’, by full immersion for those that have been born again and are trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Does The King’s Church, Arnold connect with other churches?

We connect and partner with many other like-minded churches in the area and further a field who share our convictions regarding the Bible and the good news of the gospel. We are members of Arnold Churches Together, the Evangelical Alliance and are part of the Groundlevel Network.

What is the Groundlevel Network?

The King’s Church, Arnold relates to the Ground Level Network which comprises around 100 churches throughout the UK. Ground Level Network believes in partnership without ownership. The Ground Level Network exists to support and care for local churches and ministries. They are also seeking to have a growing influence for good in the nation, affecting society in any way that they can, to be prophetic, to model Word and Spirit, relationship and kingdom. They also work in partnership with Grace Network, USA and Harvest Network, South Africa.

Do you have a child protection policy?

The King’s Church, Arnold has a growing children’s and young people’s ministry. The Church takes seriously its responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children and young people entrusted to the church’s care, we therefore have a comprehensive Child Protection Policy.

The Church is committed to:

• Listening to, relating effectively and valuing children and young people whilst ensuring their protection within church activities.

• Encouraging and supporting parents/carers

• Ensuring that children’s/youth workers are given support and training

• Having a system for dealing with concerns about possible abuse

• Maintaining good links with the statutory child care authorities
